Civic Exnora is a street/locality/neighbourhood level chapter where people join together and solve all their Civic and Environmental problems. They are helped by their Exnora Innovators Club to help themselves.

For the Civic Exnora the area of operation will be in just a street/a cluster of streets/ ward or division of the local body. The Civic Exnora will have a team of Office bearers with a Civic Exnora President, One or more Vice Presidents, One General Secretary, One or more Joint General Secretaries, One Treasurer and One Joint Treasurer (will be called the Civic Exnora Cabinet). In addition there will be following 25 (optional) Civic Exnora Directors. The posts will be identified according to the requirement. The Civic Exnora should try to fill up as many posts as possible. But it should have minimum of 8 directors at the time of formation. The names of Office bearers and Directors with their addresses should be filed with Exnora International. Civic Exnora can function only after getting registered with Exnora International and getting the Registration Number. Residents Welfare Associations affiliated with Exnora too will have office bearers as mentioned below.

• Civic Exnoras will be part of their respective Exnora Innovators Club of the neighbourhood.
• Civic Exnora should start Home Exnora in all the homes covered by Civic Exnora.
• The Presidents of Civic Exnoras will be ex officio members in Exnora Innovators Club.

The Residents Welfare Associations can affiliate with Exnora by payment of a nominal Entrance Fee of Rs.1000/- and Annual Subscription of Rs.100/- for the whole Association. They will be permitted to add "Civic Exnora" as suffix to the name of their association. Example - Jawahar Nagar Residents Welfare Association will be called 'Jawhar Nagar Residents Welfare Association - Civic Exnora'. If they do it they will have better voice with various Governmental agencies. They can also represent the pending and burning issues to Exnora International / Exnora Innovators Clubs who will do the best for solving the problems.

The Residents Welfare Associations in residential colonies & flat complexes do wonderful service to the residents. Today people get most of their basic civic needs, thanks to their Residents Welfare Associations. EXNORA grants affiliation to the Residents Welfare Associations on their applying to Exnora with payment of a very nominal Entrance Fee & annual Subscription.

EXNORA DOES THE FOLLOWING FOR THEM & TO THEM:

• Help them acquire professionalism in their functioning
• Providing free advice & consultancy
• Motivating their members to participate & cooperate
• Help them in restructuring their Committee with defined roles & allocating roles
• Capacity Building for the role players & functionaries
• Training their functionaries & members on environmental issues
• Sharing knowledge on various methodologies e.g. Composting, Home Farming
• Taking up their issues with the Government/ Local Government & doing the follow up
• Filing suits in Courts on their behalf & / or getting impleaded in their cases
• Helping them to get the support of the print & visual media
• Make them part of the EXNORA SERVICE NETWORKS guide them on networking
• To throw open 'EXNORA FORUMS' including Open Houses, Round Tables, 'Face to Face' Meetings, Discussion Forums, Brain Storming Sessions,
• Recognizing them for good work
• Give them total support of the large network of Exnora and place the power of Exnora's Collective Strength in their legitimate struggles / demonstrations /Protests.
